Experimental Study on Fracturing Characteristics of Double-Hole Blasting Under Static Stresses

This study aims to investigate the fracturing characteristics of double-hole blasting under action coupled static stress and delayed time explosion. A total thirteen explosive tests were carried out on rectangular concrete blocks with different constraints. The test wrapped in steel mesh bed prevent flying away cracked after blasting. After blasting, surface area crater was measured, all pieces collected, screened, analyzed. experimental results show that (1) shape free-surface craters affected by stress. overall volume increased direction loading (2) simultaneous initiation larger than when tested block had a single free surface. (3) fragmentation is closely related confining pressure delay applied specimens. It believed this research will contribute design multi-hole deep geological body respect theoretical analysis.
